The objective behind this project was to take a 4inch X 4inch X 4feet piece of cedar wood and deconstruct it.
My take on it, triangles.
In art history class, the topic at the time was egypt; I was inspired. I simply wanted to create as many triangles.
First, a base was created. Following, cubes were created and placed at the bottom of the central triangle to further create triangles by the placement of each cube in contrast to the base.
Finally, an exterior triangle was arranged and located on one of the faces of the base triangle to give the overall form volume.
There are a few details that I will perfect with time. Craftsmanship being the most important.
On another note, the form in its entirety feels incomplete, therefore the addition of a few more elements may help.
