Donald Judd inspired sculpture, Ola.

Donald Judd was a minimalist. The content of his work was form, and occupying space.

I took his content, and embraced it opposing his style.

Judd's style was meticulous. He was concerned with measuring everything and having everything be precise. Everything was straight and "perfect". His sculptures were created by machines to avoid human error.

Whereas in my piece, I let the material have control. I didn't measure a thing. There are no straight lines now is there "perfection". I simply created the form, and poured plaster on top allowing the plaster to run wild.
